APPLICATIONS :

FEATURES :

  • Pack-less construction of sleeve housing isolates the switch compartment from process fluids and pressures.
  • Actuation of switch is triggered off through break or make of permarient magnetic field eliminating mechanical connection between pressure compartment and switch compartment.
  • Use of fine tuned and balanced mechanism with least component conical, hardened and ground stainless steel fulcrum pin and sprin loaded ceramic inverted cone bearings result in least inertia and almos zero friction for optimum performance.

PRINCIPEL OF OPREATION :

The displacers heavier than liquid is suspended in the medium from the top by the string against the compression of the main spring with low positioned magnetic sleeve which is out of magnetic field. When the liquid level rises the displacer start getting immersed and its effective weight is reduced duc to buoyancy force resulting in operation of the main and spring with the rise of the magnetic sleeve will till it comes into influence of magnetic ficld to operate the micro switch. Reversibly with the fall in level of liquid, the sleeve will lower itself down till it clears the influence of the magnet. The magnet comes to its original position resetting the micro-switch.

OPTIONAL :

(a) Operating switches : Micro switches, SPDT hermetically sealed mercury switches, pneumatic pilot switches for hazardous or potentially explosive atmospheres.

(b) SPDT or DPDT version of switches.

(c) Independent switch operations at two or three levels of pumping stations with help of two or three carriages and multiple displacers.

(d) Choice of electrical enclosures. (i) General purpose (ii) Weather proof as per LS. 2147 : 1981 (New LS. 13947 PtI 1993, (iii) Flame proof/Explosion proof as per LS. : 2148 : 1981 Gr. a or Gr. II b or Gr II c.
